C.R. I can relate to your concern about productivity and managing the cost. In bronze, I generally could only sculpt 1-2 sculptures a year. I've switched to clay just because I can work so much faster with the limited amount of time I have. I can always choose to cast in bronze if the clay is partic...

I remember a conversation with a gallery owner once. He said that a sculptor doesn't begin to do their best work until they are fifty at least. They just take longer to mature. It was an interesting proposition.
