Join National Sculpture Society for a weekend of exploring renowned organizations:
The Metropolitan Museum of Art
The museum's collections include more than two million works of art spanning five thousand years of world culture. We will enjoy a personal guided tour lead by the curatorial staff of the Department of Antiquities.
The Green-Wood Cemetery
Tour one of the largest outdoor collections of 19th- and 20th- century statuary and mausoleums. There are over 560,000 permanent residents including many well-known individuals, such as Leonard Bernstein, Boss Tweed, and Louis Comfort Tiffany. The tour will be follow by a luncheon at Green-Wood's Historic Chapel.
The National Arts Club
Sculptor Kate Brockman and NSS Patron Members James Jennewein and Richard J. Moylan will be honored at this New York Landmark. Founded in 1898 by Charles de Kay (art critic for the New York Times and an NSS Member), we will enjoy cocktails in the Parlor Rooms and dinner in the Grand Gallery.http://www.nationalsculpture.org/nssN/i ... og.weekend
