The Sacramento Art Academy

Hi Everyone,

Adam Reeder has started a school dedicated to representational art. This is an important step in our quest to bring the past into the future. If you are in that area contact them.

I have noticed that more of these are popping up! People are so tired of 20th Century Art and many of the young art students are not interested in doing it anymore, choosing instead to develop solid skills. I like your phrase about bringing the past back into the future however using Post 20th Century Art to describe contemporary representational work, points out that it is a new century and it is time to move away from what was the mainstream of the 20th C. art world.

I wish the Sacramento Art Academy all of the best!

I'm glad to see these private ateliers gaining popularity. I hope they manage to attract and teach many young students.
