I am very saddened that there is not more activity in these forums. I notice that some people from Sculptors community are on this site. Richard I like your dog figures a lot. I am still not at the level (nor do I have the landlord's permission) to melt metal in the back yard. I am crossing my fingers that it will someday happen.

Posting regularly is not going to happen without a bit of community formation. I think we get fed up with one site and move to another, indicating that we really do want to have a community but are possibly hesitant for some reason. I mitigate my speech so I will not sound too caustic.

I would like to have an active sculptor's only site. I really do not care if it is both figurative and abstract. As a sculptor I find interest in both, and rarely do something designerly or abstract myself.

A figurative site is a great idea but if no one comes, it is the same as not existing in the first place.

we know that sculpture is made of stone, gypsum, wax, etc. i know that plastics can be welded.
if sculpture could be welded, what are they made of?
