After obtaining his D.V.A. in sculpture from A.F.A, Kolkata, he was awarded the Best Sculpture Award in 71st All India Exhibition at AFA, Kolkata and two times certificate of merit from Information Centre Kolkata,Govt. of W.B. He participated Seventy group, Two solo and many invited exhibition in all over India mainly Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Hydrabad, Chandigarh in various galleries like Jehangir Art Gallery(Mumbai)India Habitat Center, Lalit Kala Akademy,Chawla Art Gallery, MEC Art Gallery,Nirvana Art Gallery,etc. in (Delhi).Birla Academy, Sculpture Gallery, Academy of Fine Arts etc. in (Kolkata). His works collected in Ministry of Defence Govt. of India and many private collection in India & abroad.The artist lives and works in Kolkata.
